Every successful walking or cycling track starts with the flooring system. That’s why we offer specialised solutions at MB Group that combine slip resistance, smooth movement and high durability, delivering paths that keep their performance and appearance even under heavy use.
This system applies only to dry asphalt or concrete surfaces that have cured for at least 40 days. Surfaces must be free from rising damp and from any material that could affect adhesion, such as dust, loose particles, oils, grease or other contaminants. How well the system performs depends on proper surface preparation and following the correct application method.
Certified Technical Systems for Path Construction
We offer two internationally certified systems for building paths, matched to the project’s design requirements and expected traffic:
1- The Economical, Ultra-Smooth System
An advanced acrylic system built on flexible coatings reinforced with quartz sand, to guarantee a level path. The process:
- A primer coat of acrylic is applied by air spray or brush, to ensure full adhesion.
- A single-component acrylic layer is applied with a rubber squeegee, sealing pores and correcting any unevenness in the asphalt.
- A final high-performance, anti-slip acrylic finish is applied, giving the track flexibility and full resistance to high temperatures and frost.
2- The Dense, High-Friction System
- A professional polyurethane system built on scattered coloured quartz granules, for a premium look and double the anti-slip stability. The process:
- Starts with a polyurethane primer, air-sprayed for ideal adhesion.
- Coloured quartz granules, sized 0.7–1.2 mm, are scattered to enhance surface quality.
- A two-component, UV-resistant polyurethane coating is applied.
- A second layer of coloured quartz granules is scattered for the final protective coat and finished look.
- The system is sealed with a final polyurethane protective coating, guarding the track against snow, frost and heat for years.
